Kesar Peda Recipe

Peda is an essential part of any joyous celebration in India, whether getting good grades at school, birth of a child, festivals or a wedding.

Yes, you are getting me right! Today, I have come up with Kesar Peda Recipe (केसर पेड़ा रेसिपी) for you which is very popular Indian sweet dish. It can be prepared at home in a very short amount of time with minimal ingredients.

The key ingredients of this kesar peda recipe is khoya (mava), milk and saffron (kesar). Using saffron to get a natural color and flavor in food is much better than the use of synthetic colors and essence. Khoya brings a unique taste to the sweets and saffron (kesar) is an ultimate flavoring ingredient.

Mildly sweet in taste because of low quantity of sugar, this sweet is also favorite of those who doesn’t like to eat very sugar loaded sweets. Apart from the festive season and celebrations, this peda recipe works well on fasting days. It can be easily stored for 2-3 days, if refrigerated.

Let’s experience the homemade saffron flavored milk fudge balls or in short kesar peda recipe.
