Kuber puja is perfomed after Laxmi puja on Diwali festival. Kuber is considered the God of wealth. Therefore his puja is done along with Laxmi puja.

How to do Kuber Puja at Home – Step by Step Kuber Puja Vidhi
1. First of all do Ganesh-Lakshmi-Saraswati puja. Then you should start Kuber Puja.
2. Put a jewellery box on puja chauki. Now Start Kuber puja by considerig the jewllery box as symbol of Lord Kuber.
3. First of all make a swastik with roli on jewellery box. Offer rice over Swastik.
4. Now pray Lord Kuber to come at your puja place. Say, “O Lord Kuber! Please come and recieve our offerings.”
5. After that do panchopchar puja of Lord Kuber :
- Show earthen lamp to the jewelley box (Kuber).
- Then offer dhoop.
- Now offer scent.
- After this, offer sweets/fruits.
- Now offer flowers to Lord Kuber.
6. Now do 108 japa of one of the following Kuber mantra :
- Om Kuberaay Namah (ॐ कुबेराय नमः)
- Om Vitteshwaraay Namah (ॐ वित्तेश्वराय नमः)
7. Finally, offer the japa in the lotus feet of Lord Kuber. Say while offering flower and rice, “O Lord! I offer this japa in your lotus feet. Please recieve this puja and reside again in your divine adobe.”
8. If you don’t have jewellery box then make swastik on Safe (Locker) and do Kuber puja similarly.
9. This way Kuber puja gives good results soon.

Diwali festival will be celebrated on 23rd October 2014 (Thursday). Best muhurt for Lakshmi puja is 7:17 pm to 9:04 pm in sthir vrishabh lagna.
