Lachha Paratha has reserved space in menu in Indian restaurants and family events. It is a multi-layered unleavened flat bread baked in either tandoor or on hot tawa.
Lachha paratha is prepared by whole wheat flour. Salt is added to taste. Butter or Ghee is used to grease lachha paratha like other paratha recipes from Indian cuisine. Indian spices and thick puree of some vegetables are also added for flavored variations of lachha paratha in whole wheat flour while the flour kneaded.

Once again dust it with dry flour and roll it in 5 inch sized Roti.

You can add spices and/or thick vegetables puree of your choice at the time of kneading the flour to make flavored lachha paratha. For example, in 100 gm whole wheat flour, you can add 2 tbsp fresh spinach puree to make Palak Lachha Paratha (Spinach Lachha Paratha).
