Balloon modelling is very easy and interesting craft for kids. In my two previous posts, I told you how to make Balloon Dog and Balloon Giraffe. Today I will tell you how to make a balloon sword for kids from balloon modelling.
Balloon Modelling Material Required For Sword Making
1. 260Q Balloon : 1 piece
2. Balloon Inflation Pump : 1

Balloon Modelling Steps To Make Sword
1. Inflate Your Balloon
First of all, inflate your 260Q balloon with the help of balloon inflation pump.
2. Tie the Knot
Before tying a knot at the mouth of the balloon, be sure to leave little bit empty tail at the another end of the balloon. For sword making, you don’t need the length of the empty tail is equal or more than your palm’s width as we left that much space for air movement in Balloon Dog and Balloon Giraffe sculpting process.
For sword making, you need the length of empty tail less than the length of your index finger.
3. Make Hilt For Sword
Hold tied end of balloon in left hand and bend the balloon from right hand to make a loop as shown in photo. Length of the loop must be equal to the desired length of hilt.
Again bend your balloon in opposite direction to make another loop.
4. Shape The Hilt
Now hold both the loops together from the mid with your right hand and pinch firmly.
5. Lock The Hilt
From your left hand, twist the loops clockwise 2-3 times to lock the hilt properly. You can also watch the video given at the starting of this post to learn this locking process.
6. Enjoy Your Balloon Sword
Your balloon sword is ready to use.
