  1. First of all wash the rice and soak for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a karahi and crackle mustard seeds in it. Also add peanuts in it.
  3. Add all the ingredients except rice and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. After 5 minutes add rice and water and mix it properly.
  5. Let it boil once and then cover the lid. Cook it on low flame till the rice absorbs entire water.
  6. Easy and delicious tomato pulao get ready. You can serve it with raita, plain curd, papad and pickle.

  1. Basmati rice is best for this recipe.
