Today I am making Masala Aloo – a delicious spicy baby potato recipe with mint. Usually this potato recipe is eaten during fast in North Indian families, but you can make it at any occasion.

Spicy Potato Recipe : Step by Step Instructions
  1. First of all boil potatoes in pressure cooker at full pressure till 1 whistle blows.
  2. Peel boiled potatoes and prick with fork.
  3. Heat ghee in a karahi and deep fry boiled potatoes on medium flame till golden brown.
  4. Now heat 1 tablespoon ghee in a pan and crackle cumin seeds in it.
  5. Add ginger, green chili, potatoes and mint leaves in it and mix it well.
  6. After a while, add rock salt and black pepper powder in it and again mix it properly.
  7. Finally, add lemon juice in it and mix it well.
  8. Very delicious Masala Aloo (spicy potatoes with mint) are ready to serve hot.
Recipe Notes
  1. If baby potatoes are not available, then you can use medium sized potatoes for this recipe.
