Paneer Paratha Recipe

Paneer Paratha is an unleavened flat bread and one of the most popular paratha recipes in India.

Paneer Paratha is made of whole wheat flour, paneer (cheese) and Indian spices. It is generally baked from both the sides on hot tava and served hot with curd, chutney, sauce, raita and pickles. Paneer paratha is eaten in breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Paneer Paratha Recipe:
  1. Add salt and oil in whole wheat flour and make its soft dough by adding water as per requirement.

  2. Now prepare stuffing mixture by mixing paneer, salt, red chili powder, chat masala, green chili and coriander leaves.
  3. Now make a medium sized ball from dough. Dust it with dry flour and roll it in approximately 4 inch size Roti.

  4. Put 2 tea spoon stuffing mixture over it, and again make a ball from it.

  5. Dust it with dry flour and roll it in approximately 6 inch sized flat bread.
  6. Bake this paratha from both the sides on a hot tava. Grease it with Ghee from both the sides during baking.
  7. Delicious and crispy Paneer Paratha is ready to serve hot with chutney, sauce, achar (pickle) or curd.

  1. If you use milk instead of water to make dough, your paneer paratha will make more soft and delicious.
  2. You can adjust the quantity of red chili powder as per your taste.
